Challenge

The Manassas Mall, located in Bull Run, Virginia, is a nearly 825,000 square foot enclosed shopping mall that hosts 80+ stores. When it came time to replace and upgrade all 24 of their existing rooftop units, it was obvious that the traditional lift and crane solution simply wouldn't work in this instance.

Solution

Seasonair utilized helicopter lift specialists to map out a plan for placing the new equipment in locations in which a traditional crane could not reach.

A Closer Look

Starting before dawn, Seasonair began removing all 24 units.  Each of the 24 units were removed and new units set within a tight six hours window, as planned.  The Seasonair team ensured that every contingency was contemplated to make sure that everything went according to plan.
